Health Care Bargaining Update- Ratification Info Sessions and Voting

CUPE reached a tentative agreement on August 29, 2022, and will be hosting one in-person drop-in meeting for members at Riverview Health Centre. Virtual Info Sessions will also be held via Zoom (see links below). Members can attend any of the Virtual Info Sessions. The information is the same for everyone. A video presentation will be available on the Local 500 website starting September 7, 2022.

Ratification Votes
Ratification votes will be done electronically and will take place September 20th, 21st & 22nd. Details will follow in the next week.

Pension Plan
Many members have been asking about the status of the pension plan and health benefits. There will be no change to the pension plan for Local 500 Riverview members. There may be some changes to extended health benefits in the future. You can find out more at the upcoming information sessions.
