Custodial Services under attack!

Local 500 members working in custodial services continue to distribute information to the public about possible changes to cleaning in various city facilities and offices. The employer has served notice to the Local of its intention to contract out work in this service area. Our members in custodial services are the eyes and ears that help maintain a safe environment in many civic buildings, libraries and recreation facilities.
The Local will be airing a new radio shortly to educate the public about the threat to privatize this service.
